Dear Bluefish,

What an exciting win today! Congratulations, everyone. I said to Liza, "If everyone brings it, we can win this meet." And you all definitely brought it. We end the season with a winning record of 3 wins and 2 losses. Today's final score was HH 229; LB 190. The Lakers were gracious guests, and I hope you all enjoyed having them at our pool. Thank you to all the volunteers who endured the rainy conditions to keep the meet moving.

  CONGRATULATIONS to our 11-12 boys, who set a new team record for the 100m medley relay with a time of 1:10.97. The team of Haskew Pearson, Wilman Vlach, Johnny Pearson, and Joseph Yap bested the previous record of 1:11.65 set in 2009. If anyone has a photo of the 4 boys, please email it to me so I can add it to the website alongside the 8&U girls.

 This was the last home meet for our seniors, Catherine Mellette, Calla Totaro, Julian Worth, Joseph Valceanu, and Aditi Stromayer. We will miss you all so much in the next seasons, so please come visit us. The you!

  Our NVSL dual meet season is now over and we move to the championships. I will send out two more emails today: one about DIVISIONALS and one about the IM INVITATIONAL. *Minis parents - I'll try to edit the addresses so you don't get these emails!

 ALL BLUEFISH & THEIR FAMILIES should attend the banquet next Saturday evening, July 28, at the pool.  Every swimmer (minis included) will receive a medal and a special paper plate award from the coaches.  It's the night we celebrate each other ~ swimmers, coaches, and parents.  I hope you can be there!
